After Christmas our East Coast adventures continued.
Neva and Fredo kindly offered to watch the girls so we could have a romantic getaway. Sierra and Kaiya made new friends with Neva’s friends in Maine, and they now ask daily when they will get to see Maddie and Nathan again.

While the kids were playing in the snow, we were enjoying the sunshine, champagne, and sunsets in Antigua!

After the flurry of opening gifts was over, Kaiya took a long nap while Sierra took a walk with Aunt Neva and Fredo. That night they had fun playing with their relatives. Sierra has always been very friendly, but Kaiya surprised us by jumping right in to play instead of hanging back shyly as she has in the past. She may be past the worst of her stranger anxiety.

Christmas morning in CT (aka Christmas #2) was magical for the girls. They woke up to see that Santa had left a thank you note for his cookies and milk, as well as the Toy Story presents the girls had each asked for. They both then eagerly dug into the many nice gifts from the Cherniavsky relatives.

The next leg of our trip involved a minivan rental to CT to spend Christmas #2 with the Cherniavsky Family. On Christmas Eve, the girls had a playdate in the morning with Alecia and Alana, and then put on their Christmas dresses to spend the evening with cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents.
